Dominique was born and raised in Western Massachusetts, where he currently resides with his wife and children. After high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served for 15 years before retiring as a decorated Counterintelligence Team Leader and supervisor, deploying twice to Afghanistan.
Dominique is the newly appointed Assistant Department Service Officer for The American Legion Department of Connecticut. He was voted in by a unanimous vote by the American Legion Department Executive Committee to serve as a nationally accredited Veteran Service Officer. As an accredited Veteran Service Officer, Dominique assists veterans in Massachusetts and Connecticut in preparing their disability compensation, pension, education, rehabilitation, and death benefit claims for submission to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). His office also helps hundreds of Veterans obtain VA records, upgrade their military discharge, and, if needed, represent their VA claim before the Board of Veteran Appeals.
Dominique also finds time to volunteer within the communities he serves. He is an active member of his church, where he serves as a minister. He is also the Post Adjutant for the May-Davis Stotzer American Legion Post 117. As the adjutant, he is the personnel officer who keeps the membership records, minutes of meetings and assists other officers and committees in publishing official orders, announcements, and instructions.
Dominique is also a published author, a John Maxwell certified leadership trainer, speaker, and coach with a passion for helping others build a solid foundation and leave a lasting legacy.
